WELCOME TO THE WCBA HOME PAGE 

  The Wood County Bar Association is a group of attorneys and judicial officers residing in and/or practicing in Wood County, Ohio. Eligible members are in good standing and licensed in the State of Ohio.
   This group of lawyers works together to promote reform in the law, facilitate the administration of justice, elevate the standard of integrity, honor, courtesy and professionalism in the legal field. The Bar Association promotes a spirit of common purpose and comraderie among members of the legal profession.
   Members of the Bar Association are afforded the opportunity to attend CLE courses at a reasonable cost through programs sponsored and advertised through the Bar. Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to become involved through the Bar’s sliding dues schedule which favors those recently admitted by the Ohio Supreme Court. Members have the chance to socialize with fellow lawyers and discuss timely topics. The gatherings allow for interaction and conversation between the Bench and the Bar.
    Wood County Bar members participate in various committees to heighten the organization’s knowledge of practice areas and by providing legal services to those in our community who may not have access to such services through our pro bono program.
   Through this organization, attorneys in Wood County have a forum to exchange ideas, promote discussion and debate and become acquainted with fellow bar members outside of the adversarial system.
